GIS Intern
Village Earth is currently seeking an intern with skills using ArcGIS and/or Quantum GIS to assist with various community-based and advocacy mapping projects. Interns can work remotely and are not required to be located near our office. Interns will help with:
- Georeferencing and digitizing archival maps
- Mapping coordinates from legal documents
- Projecting and creating layers from GPS points collected in the field
- Preparing layers for online OpenGeo system
- And other duties as they arise.
