you should know before you travel to India
This information
is specific to United States citizens traveling
to India. Non-citizens will need to check with
their country's Indian embassy for country specific
travel information.

A US passport and visa are needed to travel to
India. You will not be allowed
to enter the country without a visa!
It will take at least two to three weeks
to receive an Indian visa. In addition you may
need certain vaccinations.
