Training Program in Community-Based Development

Through the International Institute for Sustainable Development, Village Earth provides innovative training courses to individuals and organizations that work with village residents to achieve a plan for sustainable community-based development.
The Village Earth Approach to Sustainable Development is multi-sectoral. Development in one area will never be sustainable if development in other vital areas of a community does not follow. Therefore our training courses teach an integrated and participatory approach to development.

The International Institute for Sustainable Development offers courses and certificates in the field of community development. We offer training seminars and online certificate programs. Our courses focus on planning, design, project implementation, networking, and evaluation. Participants learn techniques of mobilizing community effort, generating appropriate technologies, and building community based organizations. Courses are also offered on-request at any location providing that there is sufficient number of students registered.
