Why should you become a Global Affiliate?
We understand that small grassroots organizations across the globe require resources to fund their activities and support their communities. At Village Earth, we help connect organizations with resources through fiscal sponsorship and by ensuring organizations have the visibility required to attract funding. For our Global Affiliates, our primary objective is to establish a direct link between an organization and any potential donors, and our efforts aim to provide visibility to encourage increased and ongoing support for your organization. The Village Earth Approach
Village Earth takes a bottom-up approach to community empowerment. Rather than carrying out projects directly, the Village Earth approach works to create a support structure that enables grassroots organizations to realize their own strategies and solutions. At Village Earth, we do not steer the priorities and direction communities want to take with their individual projects; rather, once the community or group has developed its own strategies and solutions, Village Earth helps to connect them with the resources and expertise that help make it happen. In this way, the community gets the resources it needs, when needed.
How to Become a Global Affiliate

Village Earth’s Board of Directors will review your application and decide whether your organization aligns with our Global Affiliates program priorities. Please note that this might take some time. Your organization will be notified about the Board’s decision.
Upon being accepted as a Global Affiliate, Village Earth will set up a funding page & launch an active campaign for your organization. This campaign (via our website, newsletter, and social media) aims to make your organization more visible to potential donors, allowing them to recognize and support the meaningful work you’re engaged in. Through this campaign, donors will have the opportunity to contribute directly to your ongoing projects.
Consequently, the receipt of funds depends on both the generosity of donors and our collective efforts to promote your cause. While Village Earth will highlight your work for as long as your organization is a Global Affiliate, our efforts are made more effective by your organization’s sharing of information, photos, and testimonials of your impact in your community. We will promote your work broadly, and your organization can also promote your fundraiser to those who are interested in your work.
It is also worth noting that though you may have an overall funding goal, funds will not be withheld until that goal is met; rather, you will receive funding in increments as donations are made.
