Village Earth is pleased to announce that we will be offering four new courses over the next four sessions! Next session, we will be offering Community-Based Forest Management for the first time. This course is a must-take for practitioners looking to utilize collaborative methods that allow communities to manage of their own resources. In addition, Village Earth will soon be offering courses in the areas of mediation, resource management and social media utilization. Fall I Session

GSLL 1518 – Community-Based Food Systems

During this five week course, you will learn about various approaches to building community-based food systems and movements for food justice around the world. Together, we will evaluate successful efforts at food system relocalization and the protection of community food resources, as well as the factors that threaten these efforts.
